About Us

Spreading Smiles. Empowering Lives
An Ongoing Journey of Dental Health Awareness amongst Kids in Rural India

Our premise is simple, "catch 'em young"! We aim to make the kids of today understand the importance of oral health and inculcate good habits like brushing their teeth regularly. We believe that if follow a daily routine to keep their teeth and gums healthy, we'll have a generation that will pass on their good habits to the next one!

To achieve this, we have a three pronged approach.
» Outreach: The team of Dental Guru ji travels to even the remotest of villages in one of our Dental Vans, specifically designed to attract attention of, and build intrigue amongst, the kids.
» Preventive Action: Our trained team conducts Dental Camps and uses visual aids to show and explain to the kids in villages why oral health is important for them. We also provide them with toothbrushes and toothpaste and demonstrate how to brush their teeth.
» Diagnosis & Treatment: We also check up on their current oral health, diagnose any issues and treat oral ailments that they might be suffering from. If treatment is not possible on-site, our Dental Van brings them to our clinic for further assistance.

Our Cause

Helping Rural India Smile By improving Dental Health Awareness and providing better dental treatment

According to WHO almost half of the world's population suffer from oral diseases and the rural population is deprived more of oral health services. According to World Bank's estimate, 66% of India's population resides in rural parts of the country and is generally dependent on quacks who provide all sorts of malpractice treatment which pose huge threat not only to the oral health care of the patients but their overall health too!

Dental Guruji aims to change this and spread awareness about oral health and provide access to good dental treatment through its initiatives. Our focus is on identifying and helping everyone in rural areas who suffer from tooth ailments that include

  • » Tooth decay
  • » Tooth loss
  • » Gum disease
  • » Oral cancer
  • » and any other issues like cleft condition etc.
